Emporio is situated in the tranquil village of Nimborio, with the Aegean sea and two charming beaches on its doorstep.The village offers a beach taverna, restaurant and informal beach bar serving food each day, all within 200 metres of the property.

Car or scooter rentals are an option for guests wanting total freedom and we offer private parking for guests. Please be aware if bringing your own car that Symi roads are not suitable for larger vehicles.

Local Taxi. drivers or minibuses can drop off at nearby Giala beach, a 200metre walk from the property, as the roads in Nimborio are very narrow. Taxis should be prebooked.

Water taxi. Guests during peak months have easy access to Symi’s main harbour town using the regular water taxi service, which also connects to and from many of the island’s idyllic beaches every morning and afternoon. Water taxis can also be booked privately in the evening for groups wishing to travel to the harbour town for dinner, though local maritime laws state that taxi boats cannot operate after 23.00.

Guests transfers. All guests can be met from the harbour on arrival in Symi and return transfers arranged. Please give 24 hours notice of your arrival ferry so that this can be arranged. Our checkin time is 16.00 and checkout time 10.00.

Helicopter. Private helicopter transfers are available to Symi from other Islands, with the nearest commercial helicopters for charter based in Mykonos.

Walking. The main harbour is 3km away and can be reached on foot via a coastal or inland path – please don’t forget your water bottle and sunhat!
